CAMERA MODULE, ITS LENS HOLDING FRAME, AND PERSONAL DIGITAL ASSISTANT EQUIPPED WITH CAMERA MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module constituted to be small in size and light in weight even when an autofocus (AF) function and a zoom function are incorporated, its lens holding frame and a personal digital assistant equipped with the camera module. SOLUTION: The camera module is constituted of a lens holding part for holding at least one or more optical lenses and having prescribed thickness; a 1st abutting part slidably abutting on a 1st shaft member (motor shaft) arranged nearly in parallel with an optical axis; a 2nd abutting part slidably abutting on the 1st shaft member (motor shaft); a bearing part abutting on a 2nd shaft member (guide shaft) arranged nearly in parallel with the optical axis; a piezoelectric element having an actuation part capable of abutting on the side surface of the 1st shaft member at the end; and a piezoelectric element holding means for holding the piezoelectric element so that the actuation part may exist at a nearly middle position of the prescribed thickness between the 1st abutting part and the 2nd abutting part.
