PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic measuring apparatus reducing electric power consumption more than a conventional one. SOLUTION: An X-axis sensor 1 and a Y-axis sensor 2 measure the intensity of magnetism in the direction of X, Y-axes. Output of the X-axis sensor 1 and the Y-axis sensor 2 is amplified by amplifiers 24-26 and outputted to a sample hold circuit 31. The sample hold circuit 31 temporarily stores output of the amplifier 26 and outputs it to an A/D converter of the following stage. A control circuit outputs signals when measurements are started and turns an FET 21 (or 22) and a switch S5 on and then turns the signals off when a prescribed time has elapsed. Output of the amplifier 26 is thereby held in a capacitor 29. Electric power supply for the X-, (Y-) axis sensor 1, (2) is cut off by turning the FET 21(22) off. After this, the X-, (Y-) axis sensor 1, (2) does not consume electric power supply anymore. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
