PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized heating apparatus capable of heating the whole bathroom while suppressing overheat of a body case, internal equipment and the surrounding ceiling and walls in radiation heating. SOLUTION: This heating apparatus is provided with a far-infrared heater comprising a carbon lamp and a reflector to heat with radiant heat to the indoor side; a blower fan mounted in a fan case; a suction port for sucking air from the interior by the rotating operation of the blower fan; a blowoff port disposed below the body case to blow off air sucked from the suction port, into the interior; a heating element arranged near the blowoff port; and a cooling ventilation flue formed up to the blowoff port from between the fan case and the reflector. A cutout opening is formed at a part on the blowoff side of the fan casing, and a part of air sucked by the blower fan is blown off from the blowoff port after passing through the cooling ventilation flue from the cutout opening.
