PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking stove capable of improving its usability without impairing amenity in use. SOLUTION: This cooking stove comprises burners 1a, 1c for heating a heated object placed on a heating position, a heated object detecting means 10 detecting whether the heated object exists on the heating position or not, and a combustion control means H for implementing combustion restraining processing for stopping the combustion of the burners 1a, 1c or lowering combustion quantity in the absence of the heated object. Further an implementation stop instructing means D1 is mounted to provide implementation stop instruction to the combustion restraining processing. The combustion control means H stops the implementation of combustion restraining processing when the implementation stop instruction is provided by the implementation stop instructing means D1.
