PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which can prevent gel from reaching an outer part of an electrode. SOLUTION: When silicone gel 19 is injected into a case 11, the gel 19 tends to rise along an inner angle part 23 of the case 11 due to its surface tension, because the gel 19 is a liquid before set. However, since a creeping preventing member 18 is formed on the inner side wall of the case 11 having an electrode 14 inserted therein, the rising of the gel 19 is stopped on the way of the vertical surface 20 of the wicking preventing member 18, or the rising is stopped at the outer angle part 22 of the creeping preventing member 18 even when the gel goes up to an upper end of the inner angle part 23.
