PRESSURE SWITCH AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure switch without depending on manufacturing tolerance. SOLUTION: This switch for pressure up to the maximum allowable pressure Pmax is provided with a housing 1 and a film 2; and the film is joined in the housing. The film has an exposed surface capable of receiving pressure and is deformed when pressure acts on it. The pressure switch has a means 4 for converting the deformation of the film to a stroke and an electric contact device interacting with the means. The means actuates the electric contact device by the deformation of the film. The pressure switch also has a cast solid contact member 5 completely filling a cavity between the inside wall of the housing and a surface of the film on the side opposite to the exposed surface when the film is exposed to the maximum allowable pressure Pmax.
