PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a circuit breaker which has a rapid make/rapid break mechanism built in while being an opening and closing mechanism of a slow-make type and in which each component constituting the opening and closing mechanism does not mutually slide. SOLUTION: A handle and each member constituting the opening and closing mechanism are connected by a pin, and when the handle is rotated into a closed state, the movement of a pushing plate connected with a movable contactor is temporarily constrained by a cam shaft, and the handle is split into three members of a knob part, a link part, and a cam part. Then, in a closed state, the link part and the cam part are not engaged, and in a closed state and tripping state, the link part and the cam part are engaged. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
