ENCODING NUCLEOTIDES OF GENES FROM THE CHROMOSOME OF THE BACTERIUM Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, EXPRESSION AND ACTIVITY OF THE POLYNUCLEOTIDES AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

The present invention refers to the gene sequences and to the polypeptides encoded by these gene sequences, and to the use of these sequences capable of inducing a protective immune response in animals. The invention is related to the identification of gene sequences of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae with antigenic potential to be used as vaccines1 or in diagnosis. The invention refers to the polynucleotide sequences of a group consisting of: a) identical polynucleotides, with identity of at least 70%, to the nucleotide sequences that code for polypeptides characterized by the amino acid sequences, and fragments of them; b) identical polynucleotides, with identity of at least 70%, to polynucleotides that code for the polypeptides corresponding to the listed sequences, and that can be preferentially isolated from the chromosome of the strain 7448 of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, registered in the bacterial collection of the Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Suinos e Ave, EMBRAPA, under the number 7448; c) polynucleotides encoding polypeptides characterized by identical amino acid sequences, in at least 70%, to the amino acid sequences; d) polynucleotides that are complementary to the polynucleotides of a, b, or c; e) polynucleotides including successive nucleotide bases from the polynucleotide sequences of a, b, or c; f) a cultivation process, preferentially of Mycoplasma hyopneumon
