The invention concerns an apparatus for storing, dispensing and setting surgical flat-lying I-shaped clips comprising a handle body equipped with at least one control means, and an elongated element (C), directly mounted and fitted on the handle, apparatus wherein the elongated element (C) consists of a generally tubular body (20) containing: proximate its distal end, a sliding magazine (22) integral with an ejection gun; in its tubular body (20), means for dispensing (23) individually stored clips. The invention is characterized in that: the distal part of the rod anchoring the clips has a conical shape and the distal end of said distal part is hemispherical in shape, the distal end surface of the ejection gun is arranged in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tubular body.
