摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately control temperature of an exhaust emission control device to target temperature during execution of exhaust emission control device temperature rise control in an exhaust emission control system for an internal combustion engine executing exhaust emission control device temperature rise control for raising temperature of the exhaust emission control device to target temperature by performing secondary fuel injection. <P>SOLUTION: Correction energy quantity which is energy quantity necessary for adjusting temperature of the exhaust emission control device to target temperature is calculated (S103) and correction quantity of secondary fuel injection quantity is calculated (S104) by converting calculated correction energy quantity into fuel injection quantity in secondary fuel injection when exhaust emission control device temperature rise control for raising temperature of the exhaust emission control device provided in the exhaust gas passage to target temperature by performing secondary fuel injection.
