PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test stand, particularly a ceiling test stand (1) for determining the sound insulation or insertion loss of a test object (2). SOLUTION: The test stand (1) including a transmission chamber (3) is implemented as a mobile or non-fixed measuring device and has a measuring device or measuring system which is assigned to a microphone or multiple microphones (12), for determining the sound intensity. The transmission chamber (3) has interior faces running at oblique angles to one another and/or sound transmitters (8) are activated in such a way that they generate a diffuse sound field in the transmission chamber (3), and the transmission chamber (3) has multilayered walls, which contain at least two different material layers.
