PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device having excellent vibration characteristics in which impact resistance against falling is enhanced without increasing the quantity of conductive adhesive. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device comprises a piezoelectric vibration piece 20 such as an AT cut vibration piece formed of a rectangular piezoelectric element 26, and a package 30 arranged to contain the vibration piece 20 internally. The vibration piece 20 is bonded through conductive adhesive 40 on one end side 20b thereof, and the end face 25 on the other end side 20a thereof is butted against the inner wall 32a of the package 30.
