PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module constituted to be small in size and light in weight even when an autofocus (AF) function and a zoom function are incorporated, and a personal digital assistant equipped with the camera module. SOLUTION: The camera module is constituted of a lens holding part having a lens holding part main body for holding at least one or more optical lenses and moving in an optical axis direction, shaft members and guide shaft members arranged two by two nearly symmetrically with an optical axis as a center and in parallel, a piezoelectric element which is arranged in a direction nearly orthogonal to the optical axis through slits provided nearly symmetrically to the lens holding part main body in the lens holding part and whose actuation part arranged at the end abuts on the shaft member by the slit while it is energized by the shaft member, and a V-shaped roller abutting on one guide shaft member and a flat roller abutting on the other guide shaft member, which are provided nearly symmetrically to the lens holding part main body.
