PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic measuring circuit of low electric power consumption which suppresses circuit scale expansion and the occurrence of unnecessary procedures concerning a power-down shifting. SOLUTION: In the case of starting magnetic measurements, a control part 11 outputs signals indicating an instruction for the start of measurements to both a control part of an AD converter 12 and a power-down control part 14. The power-down control part 14 starts to supply driving power for the magnetic sensor 13 on the basis of the signals to make the magnetic sensor 13 have a transit to an on state. The AD converter 12 starts the operation of magnetic measurements on the basis of the signals outputted from the control part 11. In the case where the magnetic measurements are completed, the control part of the AD converter 12 outputs signals indicating the completion of measurements to the power-down control part 14. The power-down control part 14 halts the supply of driving power for the magnetic sensor 13 on the basis of the signals indicating the completion of measurements to make the magnetic sensor 13 have a transit to an off state.
