PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a male type terminal fitting capable of preventing advancing of male type tabs or the like of other terminal fittings into square tubular box-shaped parts and deformation of the tabs when a large number of the terminal fittings having the respective box-shaped parts are tied up in a bundle. SOLUTION: Since an advancing regulating wall 11 formed ranging from an external ceiling wall 8B is installed at a rear end of a box-shaped part 5, even if the tip of a male type tab 3 attempts to advance into the box-shaped part 5, the advancing of the tab 3 is obstructed by the regulating wall 11 and the further advancing is not made. Therefore, deformation of the tab 3 is surely prevented. The regulating wall 11 is bent and formed while covering the rear end edge of the ceiling wall 8B. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
