PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device having excellent long-term reliability by relaxing stress to a sealing part in a waterproof sealing material. SOLUTION: A circuit board 11 with electronic components mounted thereon is housed in a casing 1. A connector 20 is mounted to a communication port 4 formed in the casing 1 with a waterproof sealing member 31 interlaid in a gap. The casing 1 (upper case 3) is provided with a projection 50 as a stopper which has a tip held against the connector 20 at a position in which the casing 1 and the connector 20 closely confront each other in a sealing part by the waterproof sealing material 31 on one side out of a pair of parallel sides in the communication port 4 forming a trapezoidal shape.
