PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dummy container, which is integrally configured to be disposed astride at least two or more buy buttons continuously arranged in a vending machine, and can be expected to have high sales promotion effect. SOLUTION: The dummy container (2) of the present invention, comprising a shape-imitating-container part (3), which imitates the design of a bottle as a sales object, with the width astride at least two or more buy buttons of the vending machine continuously arranged and a fixing means (4) which consists of two mounting members (5a), (5b) for fixing and erecting the container part to a mounting plate (1).
