PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge securing structure of a single lever faucet at a low cost, which can easily and positively attach/detach a cartridge to/from a faucet main body, and need not loosen the fixed faucet main body at the time of maintenance. SOLUTION: The single lever faucet is formed of the faucet main body, a lever for adjusting the spouting quantity and the spouting temperature of water/hot water, and the cartridge having a mobile valve body movable in interlock with operation of the lever, and a fixed valve body housed in a casing. The single lever faucet is comprised of a cartridge retainer having a pressing portion for abutting on an upper surface of the cartridge, and a fixture for moving inward from a side surface of the faucet main body to move the cartridge retainer downward, to thereby retain the cartridge downward.
