PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for modifying organic fiber cords wherein the modification of the cords that is carried out together with the impregnation of cords into the adhesive solution in high efficiency causing no environmental problem and provide a super-heated steam injector to be used in the modification and provide the modified organic fiber cords. SOLUTION: The organic fiber cords prepared by twisting organic fibers are treated with super-heated steam to modify the organic fiber cords. In the modification process, a super-heated steam injector is applied. The injector is equipped with an injection pipe having at least a pair of injection orifices for injecting the super-heated steam to the running organic cords vertically from two directions and with a super-heated steam generator communicating with the injection tubes.
