PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric washing machine by which washing time can be shortened. SOLUTION: An electric washing machine is equipped with an outer tub with a washing and spin-drying tub set inside, an agitation wing set at the bottom part of the washing and spin-drying tub, a drive device to drive rotation of the washing and spin-drying tub and the agitation wing, a main water supply electromagnetic valve for supplying washing water into the outer tub, a circulation duct to blow air sucked through a suction port set under the outer tub into a blow-into port set facing an upper opening of the washing and spin-drying tub, a water cooling spin-drying means with a cooling water spray magnetic valve for supplying cooling water for cooling and dehumidifying the circulation air, a heating means to heat the water-cooled and dehumidified circulation air, and a controller to control those parts.
