An air conditioner where degradation of the screwed portions of a decorative panel can be suppressed or an air conditioner arranged so that even in the case where a blowout duct is post-attached, the rate of airflow to the blowout duct can be easily regurated without increasing the number of parts. That portion of a decorative panel which is fixed to a unit main body by a fixing member and in which stresses are produced by the fixing member is provided with a closed receiving section for receiving an exposed portion of the fixing member in a substantially closed state. Further, a connection planned surface of a blowout duct in a casing has knockout holes spaced from each other, and the knockout holes are along the edges of opening planned ports capable of being selectively communicated with the blowout duct.
