The landing net (1) has a rod shaped handle and a landing net circulation forming an opening. The opening holds the landing net mesh (3). The circulation of landing net at the side, which faces the handle at circulation, has a pull down edge (2). The edge is pulled down approximately 5 to 15cm, preferably about 10cm at its front end (4). The landing net is floatable.
