FUEL REFORMER

Disclosed is a fuel reformer comprising a conductor pipe (12) serving as a ground electrode, a mixed gas channel (14) for introducing a gas mixture of fuel and air into the conductor pipe (12), and a high-voltage electrode (15) between which and the conductor pipe (12) as a ground electrode is applied a high voltage for generating a plasma and reforming the fuel introduced into the conductor pipe (12) from the mixed gas channel (14). With this constitution, the fuel reformer is able to efficiently reform fuel and can be effectively used for fuel cells, reduction of NOx storage reduction catalysts and the like.
