<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the moisture resistance of a light-emitting body unit regarding the light emitting-body unit obtained by integrating a light-emitting element and a surge countermeasure element. <P>SOLUTION: The unit is provided with a pair of lead frames, the light-emitting element connected between the pair of lead frames, the surge countermeasure element connected between the pair of lead frames, and a resin mold body for sealing the light-emitting element and the surge countermeasure element excepting for an external connection part in the lead frame.
