<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect occurrence of an abnormal condition of a processor by a simple structure even if a monitoring device for the processor having a pointing function such as a mouse and a keyboard is operated without any operator. <P>SOLUTION: By this monitoring device 1, the processor having a pointing function allowing output of image information matching an input signal from a pointing device is monitored as a monitored device 20. The monitoring device 1 is provided with a control processing part 7 inputting a mouse signal or a keyboard signal from a pseudo-mouse 11 or a pseudo-keyboard 12 to the monitored device 20, determining whether image information from the monitored device is changed by the input or not, and determining occurrence of an abnormal condition of the monitored device 20 when no change is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
