DATA DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable data to be easily obtained in a short time as a means for acquiring predetermined detailed information at public facilities such as a station yard.

SOLUTION: This data distribution system includes a mobile terminal 4 having a communication part 43; an over-the-counter large display 2 having a communication part 21 that is in infrared communication with the mobile terminal 4; and a main terminal 1 connected via a network to the over-the-counter large display 2 and having a storage part 13 for storing predetermined data. When the large display 2 receives a radio signal from the mobile terminal 4, the main terminal 1 reads the predetermined data from the storage part 13 and sends the data to the large display 2. The data are in turn sent from the communication part 21 of the display 2 to the mobile terminal 4.
