PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus operation interlocking system and an apparatus operation interlocking apparatus capable of interlocking a particular apparatus with other apparatus as to diversified operations without the need for using an exclusive remote control terminal if the other apparatus is interlockingly operated when the particular apparatus is operated.

SOLUTION: A home server 30 includes: a transmission/reception section 301 for receiving operating state information denoting an operating state of a television receiver 20; a storage section 303 for storing operation interlocking information wherein an interlocking destination operation contents being operation contents of a video recorder 40 are associated with an interlocking source operating state being an operating state of the television receiver 20; a control section 305 for generating control information to activate the video recorder 40 according to the interlocking destination operation contents on the basis of the operating state information and the operation interlocking information; and a control section 305 for transmitting the control information to the video recorder 40 via a home network 1.
