PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic image development which is fixable in a wide temperature range and excels in filming resistance even when used in an image forming apparatus adopting an oilless fixing system. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic image development contains a binder resin, a releasing agent and a colorant, wherein the binder resin comprises a polyester having a softening point of 125-160°C and the releasing agent contains a paraffin wax having a melting point of 70-90°C, a penetration at 25°C of 4-10 and an n(normal)-paraffin content of 82-92 wt.%.
