PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element material which has high emission efficiency and a long life, and an organic electroluminescence element, a lighting device, and a display device using the material. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element has a component layer which at least includes a phosphorescent light-emitting layer, and a hole preventive layer between a pair of electrodes.
