PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for displaying the execution status of a conditional jump statement in a state in a source row of operation level description in simulation execution. SOLUTION: A simulation model generating part 11 for inputting a source file 10 including operation level description and generating a simulation model including a finite state machine (FSM) structure from the operation level description generates a simulation model 12 with identification information (branch ID) attached thereto in accordance with a conditional jump statement in a state and generates an operation level description source row-branch ID correspondence table 13. A simulator 14 for inputting the simulation model and performing simulation and a simulation monitor 15 are provided. The simulation monitor 15 monitors simulation execution, extracts a branch ID in a shifted state when the state is shifted, acquires a source row number of operation level description corresponding to the extracted branch ID from the operation level description source row-branch ID correspondence table 13 and controls a display device 16 so as to display a source row of the operation level description of the acquired row number in a pattern discriminative from the other row.
