PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve combustion efficiency of an internal combustion engine by lowering an electric resistance value at a ground wire part for increasing accumulation energy quantity at a capacitor function part. SOLUTION: This ignition plug cord is provided with a cord main body 1 in which inner wires 1c coated with insulation 1d-1f are electrically connected to an ignition plug connection metal fitting 3 at one end, and to a power side connection metal fitting 5 at the other end, a capacitor forming a capacitor electrode of a conductor 9 covering a prescribed length range of the outer circumference of the cord main body 1 and the inner wires 1c, and the ground wire part 11 provided on the conductor 9 as a ground side electrode for the capacitor. The ground wire part 11 is formed of ground core wires 11a having conductivity, and a flat mesh wire 11b enclosing the outer circumference of the ground core wires 11a. The cord main body 1 is formed of core materials 1a formed of glass fibers, conductive conductors 1b covering the outer circumference of the core materials 1a, the inner wires 1c spirally wound around the outer circumference of the conductive conductor 1b, and the insulation 1d-1f covering the inner wires 1c.
