PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden screw capable of preventing the formation of burrs and being smoothly screwed in. SOLUTION: A plurality of cutting blades 12e for cutting formed on the tapered face 12b of a plate-shaped head 12 are constituted by inclining them so that one end on a head large diameter end side is positioned on a preceding side in the direction of wooden-screw tightening and rotation more than the other end on a head small diameter end side. Consequently, the cutting angle of the cutting blade 12e for wood becomes acute, cutting quality becomes satisfactory, and it is smoothly screwed into wood to prevent the formation of burrs and cracks of wood. Chips caused by cutting are pushed into the wood by the inclined cutting blade 12e to prevent the surface of wood from being dirty by chips. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
