PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient compressor capable of increasing reliability by improving the durability of a compression member. SOLUTION: This compressor comprises a drive element 2 stored in a closed container 1 and a compression element 3 driven by the rotating shaft 5 of the drive element 2. The compression element 3 comprises a cylinder 8 in which a compression space 21 is formed, a suction port 27 and a discharge port 28 communicating with the compression space 21 in the cylinder 8, the compression member 9 having one surface crossing the axial direction of the rotating shaft 5 continuously tilted between a top dead center 33A and a bottom dead center 33B, disposed in the cylinder 8 and rotated, and compressing a fluid sucked from the suction port 27 and discharging it from the discharge port 28 into the closed container 1, and a vane 11 disposed between the suction port 27 and the discharge port 28, abutting on one surface of the compression member 9, and dividing the compression space 21 in the cylinder 8 into a low pressure chamber LR and a high pressure chamber HR.
