摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a detection accuracy for the amount of intake air sucked into an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A measurement delay time Td is calculated by using a timing at which the intake air is actually sucked and a timing at which the amount of the intake air is detected by an air flowmeter 72, and an air amount detection time Ti for detecting the amount of the intake air is set based on an actual suction time Tr in which the intake air is actually sucked into cylinder chambers. Then, after the averaged value Qa of the intake air amounts in times other than the air amount detection time Ti between intake strokes is calculated and it is confirmed that the half of the air amount detection time Ti (n+1) in the intake stroke is passed, an air correction factor Ka is multiplied by the averaged value and the result is divided by the air amount detection time Ti (n+1) to deduct the average value Qa of the intake air amount in the air amount detection time Ti (n+1) from the intake air amount Qin.
