PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid no display of the expected spring force of a twist coil spring due to the occurrence of friction resistance between the coil spring part of the twist coil spring and a rotor, in a valve opening/closing timing control device provided with a first rotor rotating together with the cam shaft of an internal combustion engine; a control means to vary a relative rotation phase with a second rotor rotating together with a crank shaft; and the twist coil spring to energize the first rotor in a direction in which advancing to the second rotor is carried out. SOLUTION: The twist coil spring 20 comprises a lock part to lock the first and second rotors 1 and 2; and a coil part 22 positioned between the two lock parts. The coil part 22 has a pair of holding regions 23a and 23b enabling positioning of the coil part 22 on the peripheral surface of each of the rotors 1 and 2; and a torque generating region 25 positioned between a pair of the holding regions.
