PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw, which has a film layer formed thereto, used in injection molding or extrusion molding and excellent in abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: The screw for injection molding or extrusion molding is characterized in that the film layer based on chromium containing carbon is formed at least on the work surface of a screw main body.
