PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lancet with a needle protector which prevents a needle from being exposed from a puncture instrument before and after puncturing and can remarkably reduce the risk of erroneous puncturing compared to conventional lancets. SOLUTION: A lancet with a needle protector includes a needle, a lancet hub for supporting the needle so that the needlepoint can be exposed, a cylindrical needle protector fit on the distal end portion of the lancet hub so as to be capable of axial movement; and a resilient member connecting the needle protector and the lancet hub.
