PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a piece of furniture having a top board with which a wiring work can always be easily performed. SOLUTION: This piece of furniture D having the top board is equipped with the top board 2, a furniture body 1 which supports the top board, and a wiring duct 3 which can be attached to the furniture body 1. In the piece of furniture D having the top board, an openable/closable lid body 32 is provided on the upper section of the wiring duct 3. The lid body 32 is arranged outside of the top board 2 with the wiring duct 3 attached to the furniture body 1, and the upper surface 32a of the lid body 32 is made approximately flush with the upper surface of the top board 2.
