PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding-type mower advantageous in terms of center-of-gravity height and machine body length while enabling cut grass to be retrieved in large quantities into a grass collector, and easy to unload cut grass as well. SOLUTION: The riding-type mower has the following construction and mechanism: The grass collector 30 is equipped with a pair of left and right side containers 30a, a center container 30b communicating with the upper part of the side containers 30a, and a recessed part 32 situated beneath the center container 30b and opened forward and backward of the collector 30 through the longitudinal direction of the collector in between the side containers 30a. When the collector 30 is in a retrieving mode, the center container 30b is situated above a prime-moving part 3 and the side containers 30a are situated on the lateral side of the prime-moving part 3. The collector 30 is brought to a grass-unloading mode by being turned rear side of the vehicle body around transverse shafts 43a and 102a situated on the side of the lower end of the collector 30.
