The liquefaction process involves the removal of unwanted products such as carbon dioxide or water. The tank return gas is compressed, and taken to the water separating unit as regeneration gas. The tank return gas (7) is compressed to a certain pressure (V) which makes it possible to take the tank return gas via components (8, 9, 10, 11) of the system to the flow (3) to be liquefied, before this is taken to the water separation unit (A).
