The sales unit consists of a film-like packing (12) within which is enclosed at least one baked product (14) which is at least 70 per cent ready-baked. For completion of the baking or heating up of the product the whole sales unit (11) with the completely closed film-like packing is placed in an oven or microwave. The baked product is provided with a backing (16) which is constructed especially as cardboard or a cardboard blank which may have a heat-resistant separable layer.
