<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate maintenance work such as jam processing and replacement of each component. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming unit 20 can be drawn out of a main body casing 2 and be attached to and detached from the main body casing 2. A turnable handle member 58 is attached to a frame 21 of an image forming unit 20, and the image forming unit 20 can be separated from the main body casing 2 and be lifted as a single body by drawing out the image forming unit 20 with the handle member 58 in a drawing position of being approximately horizontally brought down and then inclining and pulling the frame 21 to the front side with the handle member 58 in a lifting position of being stood obliquely.
