摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high regeneration efficiency and high fuel consumption by suitably using regenerative brake force in all regions from stepping start of a brake pedal to release of stepping in a vehicle brake device. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle brake device is provided with a master cylinder 23 as a base hydraulic brake force generation restricting means for restricting the generation so that base hydraulic brake force is equal to or lower than a predetermined value until the braking manipulation state becomes the predetermined state from the stepping start state wherein the braking manipulation state is in the state at the time of stepping start when the brake pedal 21 is stepped. A first port 23h provided in a first hydraulic chamber 23d of the master cylinder 23 and communicating with a reservoir tank 24 is provided from a first position in correspondence with the stepping start state of a closed end of a first piston 23b closing the port 23 to a second position in correspondence with a predetermined state separated to the boosting direction of the first piston 23b in a predetermined distance S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
