<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of preventing the fall and irregularity of the temperature of a gas sensor element and enhancing the ventilation properties of the atmospheric gas introduced into an element case. <P>SOLUTION: The atmospheric gas is passed through a large number of open pores of the base plate part 11A and cap part 11B constituted of the porous heater material of the element case 11 and uniformly heated to a predetermined temperature to be diffused into the element case 11 to uniformly heat the gas sensor element 12 to prevent the fall and irregularity of the temperature of a gas sensor element 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
