<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a rough surface to the surface of a base material in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A tool 1 provided with a broaching edge 9 for first roughing, a broaching edge 11 for second roughing and a broaching edge 13 for finishing, is inserted into a cylinder bore of a cylinder block 1 and the broaching is performed to form the roughness part in the inner surface 3 of the cylinder bore. Thereafter, the tip parts of the projecting parts in the roughness part formed by the broaching, are broken and removed by inserting a wire-brush while rotating it in the cylinder bore, and the broken surface is formed, thereby forming the rough surface to the inner surface of the cylinder bore. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
