PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet rotating electrical machine for sinusoidally generating induced electromotive force, capable of reducing the cogging torque and solving the noise problem. SOLUTION: A permanent magnet is provided with a stator, having a concentrated armature winding for surrounding teeth within a plurality of slots formed in a stator iron core, and a rotor having permanent magnets disposed in a plurality of permanent magnet insertion holes within the stator iron core and rotatably supported by a rotational shaft within an inner circumference of the stator via a gap. An induced voltage is a sinusoidal voltage and the cogging torque is drastically reduced, by making the slots have eye shapes. Since the electromagnetic force for vibrating the teeth is reduced, the permanent magnet rotating electrical machine reduces a noise. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
