PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the speaker of a structure in which a large-dimension voice coil and a small-dimension voice coil can be each disposed properly in a magnetic gap, and a method of manufacturing the speaker. SOLUTION: The speaker is provided with a diaphragm 10 having an annular main vibrator 11, an annular internal supporting part 12 and an external supporting part 14, each supporting part for supporting the main vibrator 11; a large-dimension voice coil unit 55 attached on the outer edge of the main vibrator 11; a small-dimension voice coil unit 50 attached on the inner edge of the main vibrator 11; and a yoke 20 integrated into the diaphragm 10. The speaker has positioning members 61, 62 which are fixed on the diaphragm 10 and engaged with predetermined positions of the yoke 20 and restrict the positions in a dimension direction of the diaphragm 10 for the yoke 20 and the positions in forward and backward directions perpendicular to the dimension direction so that the unit 55 and the unit 50 may be each disposed in magnetic gaps G1, G2 in a magnetic circuit.
