PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a camera thin by reducing the thickness of a part composed of a solid-state imaging element and its holding member. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging element 10 has a package in multi-layered structure including a 1st layer 11 and a 2nd layer 12 which are stacked one over the other across a lead frame 13 and is fixed to a camera main body through the specified holding member 30 so that the 2nd layer 12 is disposed more ahead an optical path than the 1st layer 11. When surfaces of the layers 11 and 12 which face the optical path are top surfaces, surfaces 11a, 11b, and 11c of the 1st layer 11 are surfaces held by the holding member 30. The reverse surface of the 2nd layer 12 may be a surface to be held. The top surface of the 2nd layer is a fitting surface for an optical low-pass filter. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
