PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease composition used for ball type constant velocity joints and having excellent durability, and to provide a ball type constant velocity joint. SOLUTION: This grease composition comprises the following components. (a) A base oil. (b) A diurea-based thickener represented by the formula: R1-NH-CO-NH-C6H4-p-NH-CO-NH-R2(R1and R2are each an 8C alkyl). (c) Molybdenum disulfide. (d) A molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate sulfide represented by the formula: (R3R4N-CS-S)2-Mo2OmSn[R3and R4are each independently a 1 to 24C alkyl; (m) is 0 to 3: (n) is 4 to 1; (m)+(n)=4]. (e) A calcium petroleum sulfonate. (f) A sulfur-phosphorus-based extreme-pressure agent in an amount of 1.5 to 10 mass% based on the composition. (g) A vegetable fat or fatty oil.
