PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting apparatus capable of practicing a periodical flushing using a necessary and enough amount of an ink by changing the condition of the periodical flushing in accordance with the condition of use. SOLUTION: The liquid jetting apparatus 10 is characterized by having a mean delivering failure sheet number calculating means 74 for calculating a mean delivering failure sheet number indicating the sheet number of targets 29 jetting a liquid corresponding to the cleaning number per one time based on the number of the cleaning and the sheet number of the target 29 jetting the liquid, a periodical flushing means for periodically delivering the liquid from a nozzle opening of a liquid jetting head 30 in a non-image recording region in which the target 29 is not positioned, and a periodical flushing condition changing means for changing the periodical delivering condition for the liquid by the periodical flushing means based on the mean delivering failure sheet number.
